Graphics, Textures and UI discussion

A thread for discussion of Overall UI, textures, graphics, themes etc..

While I have started working on the Match Engine, I want to simulatenously want to get started with the 2D graphics engine (specifically the 2D overhead view of the Playing area).

So at this point, I am looking for help regarding the following...
1) The UI of that specific screen, where the play would be going on with Overhead view of the match
2) I need someone with good UI design skills to layout a sketch of how that screen should look like. What all elements should be there on that screen etc. Where should the elements be placed so that its appeals aesthetically.
3) How should the players looks like (spherical dots, Squares etc..etc)

Based on this sketch, we would start on Backgrounds, Buttons, textures etc. And using this, will start working on that specific screen using these elements.

hi mate,

I think first we should discuss what are the features we are going to have in the game so that the UI can be designed according to that.

Well graphics also matter however features are more important.

Hello Stumped,

Do you have any update on the Storyline (except the management mode) and rough screens?

If you remember we had discussed that it should get over by end of October. We have 7 days left only..

Got an update from Neihsel that he would upload the work he is doing by next tuesday-wednesday.

I am sorry Das. Just waiting for my exams to get over and then I'll start again. The good thing is I have got 3 applications from developers who are willing to work free.
