You've probably heard about the boxed version for UK, Australia and South Africa by now. You can also pre-order the boxed version and it will be delivered to you for free no matter where you reside.
We have a number of options lined up for Pakistan and India as well. We're working on them at the moment.

If you have a decent connection, navigating through the online portal will be a smooth experience. This probably won't be possible with a 56K connection, you will need broadband at the very least. The in-game lag depends almost completely on the ping you get to the host. We recommend a 512KB connection, with which you should be able to play against people from your own country without any problems. Playing against users from other countries might require some adjustment in timing so that it syncs with the laggy environment.
The crowd's reaction depends on the situation of the game. You'll definitely notice a more excited crowd when a player hits a 6, gets a wicket and so on. Similarly, you'll hear "oooooh" when a player drops a catch, or when the umpire turns down an LBW appeal.

There is no controller support in CR, you'll have to get comfortable with the keyboard
