Confirmed No PS3 Demo

I found on the codemasters forum confirmation by the community manager.

Hi all,

We realise that a lot of you were looking forward to try an Ashes Cricket 09 demo for PS3, but I am afraid that in this instance there will not be a demo for the PS3.

The game is still being released for PS3 on August 7th, and sorry that this is not the news you were hoping for.

I emailed codemasters about this and this is their reply:

Thank you for submitting your recent request to Codemasters Customer Services concerning Ashes Cricket 2009.

We are planning to release a PS3 version of the demo, however we don't have an exact release date for this yet.

Keep an eye on our website for further announcements.

The game is released in a week and the earliest we'd be able to get it is the 6th..pointless in releasing one. I don't understand why ps3 owners are being treated like this.

Well I don't see any point now in releasing a demo for PS3. Just wait for one more week. Buy the full game and play it.

I pre ordered my Ashes Cricket 2009 on amazon.co.uk but free delivery takes 3-5 days. So I will probably recieve mine 12th August. If only there was a demo to Play.

lol.... man..be glade you are lucky enough to even get it on 12th on PS3 and knw tht its gonna work, unlike us, 360 owners in N.American who gotta wait to even see if it works...
