Game not running in fullscreen mode

Hi All,

I have the game and when playing the game it doesnt occupy the fullscreen but runs between two black bars like a cinescope movie.I have the original DVD and everything is fine except this problem.

I have tried setting the screen resolution to 1024*768 in game and desktop as well.but still it runs the same way.

help me please!!

Actually, it's because of the screen ratio I suppose. On widescreen monitors, it will run well. What's you screen refresh rate?

Hi,

I had a wonderful HP 20.3 Inch LP2065,unfortunately a few weeks back it had some problem and the screen became totally black.I went to the store and they said it is not repairable.Hence now I jus borrowed one of my friends HP 17inch CRT (fat) monitor till I can afford a new LCD.

The screen refresh rate was about 68.5 hertz.The game is running like a sony original hindi movie DVD in between two black bars.Makes me feel Im watching the ashes 2009 cricket game DVD rather than playing it!!!

Will this monitor not be able to run the game in fullscreen??
Kindly advice!!

Okay do this and let me know if it works or not. Right Click Desktop>Properties>Setting Tab>>Advanced Button>>Monitor Tab>>

Change the screen rate to 60hz. This was for Windows XP but I hope it will likely be same for Windows 7 also.
