I've spent an afternoon in front of Ashes Cricket 2009 and Cricinfo working out what the names should be for the players from the unlicensed teams. I've just got Kenya and Zimbabwe to go, so from the first man in the squad to the last, here's the first team .... Sri Lanka

Actually, though I haven't played the full version but looking at the hex of the Player's first name, I saw that we can use only 6 letters. Shame!

Also i've edited in a new player (Dwayne Bravo) and swapped him for Xavier Marshall in the squads but when i played a 20/20 game Marshall was still in the squad. Can't the edited player play in 20/20 games?

There are some good features in this game but so much that needs improving. Nothing major just polishing up really but that would make it into a very good game then instead of an above average one.

Still no.1 in the sales charts. I bet Coddies are laughing. I hope we have some DLC for the game.

if you can use only six letters for the first name. try this for eg. shivnarine chanderpaul you put shiv chanderpaul.

That's what i have done/ Its still no excuse for very poor programming (or oversight).
The more i play the more i see lost opportunities. They have built an OK game but if this has been in development for two years i don't think much of the dev team.
I know cricket won't get the resources thrown at it like FIFA, PES, Fight Night, Madden etc but some stuff is just amateurish.
I doubt they will patch the game so the infuriating A.I is here to stay then.

I'm happy i only paid ?25 from Asda (offer still on until the end of this week) for it. I should get a half decent trade in value when FIFA 10 comes out.

Another shame is that you cant have two capitals in the last name !!

eg. McCullum is changed to Mccullum or De Villiers is changed to de villiers
