![]() | So long as Codemasters and Rockingham Software decide to continue with their 'Ashes Cricket' series, the next release will surely be late 2010 when the Ashes 2010/11 series begins in Australia. This may seem like a long way away now but I think it's important we put forward any genius suggestions our minds can muster-up at this early stage so that if ideas are developed, they don't have to be rushed. I'd like to begin by listing a few improvements on the current game engine that I feel are necessary, as well as putting forward a few new ideas that may make the next game the best cricket console game ever made: - Larger squads (e.g. England: there are hundreds of English cricketers in domestic cricket and as the England international team is constantly adapting and bringing in new players, it would be appreciated if perhaps at least 50 were available in the game) - ODI and T20 series modes/Tour modes - Less agressive AI batting (especially in Test matches) - More accurate bowling speeds - Bowling a variation of lines and lengths without getting hit for 4 or 6 everytime the delivery isn't in a light green zone - Better 'Custom Player' engine (Fully customizeable looks and preferably unlimited skill points) - No outrageous catches (if catches are simple, they should look simple and less robotic dives!) - More fluent bowling actions (they also look very robotic) - Varied bowling actions, including player likenesses if possible - Reverse sweeps and Dil-scoops etc - Option of bringing keeper up to the stumps for Medium pacers - Career Mode (top of the list on most cricket gaming fans wishlists- this will sell plenty of games!) - More stadia - Kit Editor (I've been desperate for Fifa to include this on their manager mode, this would be good for unlicensed teams) - Domestic Cricket (Understandably difficult to get licensing not to mention the huge number of players that would need to be created, nonetheless, if possible- this would sell games!) That's all for now. I'd appreciate opinions on my list and other suggestions are welcome |

![]() | This should also definately feature. However, it's still very new to cricket and there's a small possibility that it may not be permenantly used in international cricket so I could understand if it is not in the next release. |

Another thing, they should at least make game patchable easily so that kits and other things can be updated like C07. Without patches, game will never succeed. | |
