Unable to Run Ashes Cricket 2009 ? ** Read Here**

Whenever i run the game it says ashescricket09 exe is already running or it comes send error report dont send error report any idea how to solve this.

If still the game is not working, here are some solutions.

• If the game doesn't even start, disable Visual Themes from the compatibility of the EXE "Cricket2009.exe".
• Clear your Temp folder, close all other programs which are opened.
• You can also download 3D Analyzer and try to emulate the game using it. You can use the configs attached in this post which are for 3D Analyzer. Just simple extract the configs into your root directory of Ashes Cricket 2009 and then emulate it with the default setting detected by the 3D Analyzer. Using 3D Analyzer might not produce the real graphics of the game as it will disable the renders.
• If the game is running but very slow, you can decrease the screen resolution to 800*600 or 1024*768. Also decrease the quality of shadows and graphics to "Low".
• In Vista, try disable the High DPI mode from the compatibility settings.

More solutions will be added as soon we will discover them.

If still you are not able to run the game then we are sorry. You have to buy a good graphic card and have to upgrade the specifications according to the minimum required.

Whenever i try to start the game it always tell "CANNOT START BECAUSE ANOTHER INSTANCE OF THIS PROGRAM IS ALREADY RUNNING". It is almost same as aditya

It's graphic card problem. It will still come this error even if there is no Ashes Cricket 2009 process is running.

Yes i know it is graphic card problem but i thought to post this error maybe anyone could have solved it but now i am sure it want much better graphic card.

I use 2 nvidia 7900gtx with SLI and game just hangs after few minutes of play. Any suggestion or fixes.

it shows "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem"

Pratik, disabling visual themes varies depending on which OS you're using, I know you're using Windows but I don't know whether you're using Vista or XP so I'll give you the instructions for both.


Disabling Visual Themes- Windows XP

* Make sure you're on your desktop
* Right-click and select "Properties"
* Look at all the tabs on the top of the window that opens, click on the one that says "Apperance"
* Look at the "Windows and Buttons" drop down menu
* Select the one that says "Windows Classic Style"
* Apply these settings and the visual theme will be disabled




Disabling Visual Themes- Windows Vista

* Make sure you're on the desktop
* Right-click and select "Personalize"
* Now click on "Window Color and Appearance"
* Click on "Open classic appearance properties for more color options"
* From all the color schemes available, click on the one that says "Windows Classic"
*Apply these settings and the visual theme will be disabled
