Left or Right Hander in Cricket 2000?

Posted 24-02-2010 at 10:04 PM by Stumped (Stumped's Blog)

I was playing EA Cricket 2000 in the morning as I have to write a review for CricketGaming's upcoming new network website. I was shocked to see that Sourav Ganguly was batting with Right Hand. I thought it might be a mistake in assigning the batting hand but the weird thing was that he was a Left Handed batsman assigned. I came to conclusion that all was a bug in EA C2000.

All Left Handed batsman also bat with Right Hand.

LOL!

2010 Most Awaited Cricket Game

Posted 23-02-2010 at 02:48 PM by Stumped (Stumped's Blog)

Being a big fan of cricket games, every year I just wait for a new cricket game. I have hardly played Ashes Cricket 2009 or Cricket Revolution due to lack of time but still I have all the cricket games installed on my PC.

This year, the most awaited cricket game for me is obviously EA's cricket (if they will be releasing) as their promotional EA Cricket 10 for mobile was awesome. In case there won't be any EA game then I would like to play the next game from Mindstorm Studios as they...

New Bat and First Shot

Posted 10-12-2009 at 12:19 PM by Stumped (Stumped's Blog)

My RBK bat was quite old and the inter-school tournament is also coming. Hence, I decided to buy a new cricket bat. I already decided which bat I should buy and hence I selected Puma as it's easily available.

The bat is really light-weighted. I tested the bat in the South Avenue mall indoor cricket area. Since it was a bit lighter than my older bat hence my timing wasn't so perfect but after some practice I was able to time the ball easily.

I hope my bat will work great...

Cricket Revolution is Great

Posted 17-10-2009 at 02:54 PM by Stumped (Stumped's Blog)

Well, I was able test out the BETA version of Cricket Revolution and I must say that I enjoyed it. I can't tell much about the game as it's no allowed currently but would like to tell that game is really enjoyable and best of all it was running on my PC.

Finally switching to Cricket Revolution from Ashes Cricket as Ashes Cricket lags a bit on my PC where as CR is just great.

Chewing Gum is Cool in AC09

Posted 03-08-2009 at 09:31 PM by Stumped (Stumped's Blog)

I was just playing the Demo of Ashes Cricket 2009 where I was England and chosen to bowl. After 2 overs I saw that Matt Prior in behind the stumps was eating a chewing gum. You could even actually see it. It was really cool and I am really excited about this game.

I'll surely buy it
