| Administrator | As I always do for every game, I am starting with the demo version of Cricket Coach 2009. Since it's a demo, the review is very small. Cricket Coach 2009 Demo 1 ? First Impressions The game I was really waiting for was finally released as a demo at first. The first thing which was very impressive was the designing of the game. Another thing was credits. All the people even involved in the testing have been credited in the game. There is also a tournament name editor where you can edit the names of tournament according to your choice. This will also allow you to change the ?Indian Super League? to ?Indian Premier League?. Now about the game, the statistics are very accurate as looking to be syndicated via Cricinfo. The weird thing in this demo is that in the demo text, it is written ?In this demo you can play TwentyOver match between SriLanka and WestIndies? where Pakistan should be there instead of WestIndies. It may be a possibility that Rockingham Software was going to feature the 2nd ICC T20 WC 2009 Semi-final. The feature of exporting data in HTML is pretty useful if you want to share the stats. The graphical user interface was really very good and easy but there were few bugs in the game like Jayawardene to be the Sri Lankan wicket-keeper and high run rate in the gameplay. As far seen in the tournament of ICC T20 WC 2009, teams were finding hard even to reach the score of 160 where as in the simulation, most of the times you will get scores near 200 or 190 which is completely unrealistic. As stated by Rockingham Software that this demo doesn?t represent the quality of the original game, we can expect these bugs to be solved in the full version. Overall, the demo was a really good attempt and it looks to be a better game than Cricket Coach 2009. From my experience with Cricket Coach 2009, I?ll rate this game with 8.5 points from 10. (8.5/10) and I?ll recommend every cricket gamer to at least try this wonderful cricket simulation game. |
