Playstation Magazine hinted Ashes Cricket for PS3 and xBox 360

It was published as a rumor in Playstation Magazine (April 09) edition that two cricket games will be released this year . One from EA and the other from Codemasters.

Codemasters and EA will release a new Cricket title to coincide with the summer Ashes - Playstation Magazine

According to New Zealand online shopping website MightyApe, the game is titles as "Cricket:The Ashes" which is developed by Codemasters and published by Atari. The game will be released for PS3 and xBox 360 at the moment. The expected release date for these games is listed as "31st July 09" at MightyApe. As EA Sports cricket was already confirmed, we may see another cricket game this year.

The competition is not only between EA and Codies. I think AntimaFX and Rockingham are also there.

I am sure about Empire as CC09 will take over ICC 09 this year.

lets hope there is a big display of cricket games this year
which will hopefully include ea cricket 09 and ashes that would be great
