![]() | Suggestions & Wish-list______ Annoyances - Needs Improvement_______ Good points --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No squad system, Only 11 players. Talent points are confusing. You can have Tendulkar as a Bowling specialist. Menu dialogs does not respond to keyboard buttons. You have to take your hands out of keyboard and transfer it to mouse to select the next batsmen which can be done with a enter button hit. Unnecessary dialogs. A dialog with OK button to inform u about the next bowler. This happens 10 times in a Ten over match. See previous point. Confusing control system. The difficulty of the game should be based on Timing, Shot selection, Placement and other essential factors. Not on pressing the right buttons. What I mean to say is, when playing you should just forget about pressing the right buttons .This prevents user immersion into the game. No joystick support. No timing trigger buttons. The last button pressed determines the timing. Special balls are hard to tackle. The indicator changes at the last second. Batsmen stands like stupid doing nothing if wrong shot is played. Say you are trying to play a Slog shot but decide to play a defensive shot at last second by using slog button + -> then you are in deep trouble. Batting level meter does not reflect game type, (10 or 20 or 50) Whatever it increases at same rate. So 50 run is avg for 10 over games since your chances of having a settled batsman is less. No timing meter. No way to determine what went wrong. Fliers and Edges happen even if your timing is upto the mark. Run outs look random, No replay available. Cannot skip unwanted replays. Unsuccessful LBW appeals will take 10seconds to show u the Hawk eye. Defensive shots are vulnerable to LBWs. Umpire gives out to Soft dismissals, which is unnecessary. No control over running. Sprinting and Diving are impossible. Running is disabled on LBW appeals and overthrows which breaks the stumps. Bowling indicators are inconsistent. Its not uncommon to see a ball break the stumps which was indicated to go outside off stump. Toss, You will always call and win. Many shots, Placement system, Simplicity, Animations. Regular patches which increases our hopes to see a perfect cricket game. Batting is balanced with average run rates of 4.0 to 7.0. 5 Shot(Say Defensive, Aggressive, Slog, Push and Loft) selection buttons which also determines the timing of the shot(i.e You can hold the direction keys and push this button as the last one to improve your timing) should be modified to go with all the direction key combination. This scheme will increase the total number of shots while providing the most needed consistency. If a shot is not available say if Slog + -> is not possible then a similar shot Defensive + -> can be played by default instead of standing still. Last edited by xathish; 16-11-2009 at 09:49 PM. |
