Finally, CricketGaming has completed a successful one year. It's a really big achievement for us to attract Millions of visitors in just a single year. CricketGaming team would like to thank all the visitors for visiting our site.
We had a great one year story which we would like to post for all the fans.
CricketGaming was originated from Cricket2009.org which was a website dedicated to EA Sports Cricket 09. Cricket2009.org became very popular after the leaked details of ICC Cricket 09. Since there were no official announcement in two months we decided to change our name because Cricket 09 will not be announced (and it has happened) our website will fail. After a discussion the website was renamed to CricketGaming.net and was relaunched on 1st April 2009. Now our website started to provide resources for every cricket game that exist.
CricketGaming started well and received around 300 registered members in just a month. When Ashes Cricket 2009 was announced, that probably was our turning point as that game took us to greater heights. Our Exclusive Interviews with Codemasters, Rockingham Software, Mindstorm and Gamebience made us very popular. Now we became the no.1 site is providing latest news and updates even for small cricket video games.
In May/June, our second portal, CricketGaming.org was launched which was meant for all the latest patches and downloads news.
Few good achievements for us are that leading video game websites like Kotaku and EuroGamer started mentioning CricketGaming in their news articles. Another great thing was that we got a chance to test our Cricket Revolution exclusively. In this period CricketGaming's Cricket Revolution Roster Patch is currently the most famous roster available for Cricket Revolution.
After the launch of GameVentures' HowZat, CricketGaming was appointed as official partner and PR Agency of HowZat.
At the end of the year 1, more than 4,500 users registered at our site. Our site was first hosted on a shared server since we never expected such a big amount of visitors hence many time our server crashed due to less bandwidth.
First year was really a tough year since Stumped(I) was the only person who was doing most of the things. After a successful one year, we will be moving forward. There are huge developments going on. The thing which will be under huge development is improving our quality of articles. CricketGaming will be concentrating on quality of articles and downloads in the upcoming months. We will also be working on ways which will provide better support to the Cricket Gamers.
Regards,
Stumped,
